Great Investment

I bought this to dig ditches on the sides of my driveway that is roughly a mile long. It works fantastic. The ditches wound up being roughly 2 ft wide by 18-20 inches deep. I used the dirt from the scooping to build up the low spots in the driveway. It takes some fine tuning and trial and error to get the latch to release with a rope or chain without getting off the tractor to empty the scoop. It's rated at 4.5 cubic feet of dirt but I'd say each scoop was closer to 8 or 9. 38.5 HP Massey pulls it well. Would definitely recommend this for digging/scooping as well as moving dirt piles. — Ryan Morgan from GA

Great back saving investment

This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars

Bought this scoop based on reviews and it has not let me down. Dug out a 100x10' driveway 4"deep in a out 4 hours with a 18hp Duetz tractor. It does max out the tractor but I can foresee other uses like hauling wood for burning and tools around the place. I did mount a return spring for the dump latch that makes reset much easier. I also had to raise the 3pt hitch up as high as possible to clean dump the scoop. Great item in place of your back, also to note took advice of others adding spacer washers at pivot point of scoop. Special thanks to people at Agri Supply for ease of purchase and for holding the last one in stock till I got there

Reversible

This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars

We bought both this scoop and the heavier King Kutter reversible scoop for different tractors. This one is more lightly built than the King Kutter for sure, but still nicely made and solid. This scoop is in fact reversible with the addition of a couple of pins in the holes that already exist on the reverse side. I don’t think I would use it for digging up rocks as we will with the King Kutter but it will work great for moving mulch and top soil.

Amazing for Moving Dirt

This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars

Got a load of dirt to fill in a low spot in the yard. Sadly with all the rain we have been having, the truck had to dump it 30 ft away from where I needed it. The thought of dragging it with the tractor blade was not possible, so I decided to give this dirt scoop a try. All I can say is this thing is amazing! Took a 7 ft mound of dirt down to level within 2 hours. The dump mechanism does take a little bit of a learning curve to get things to operate smoothly, but other than that, great product.

4 year follow up

This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars

Several years ago I bought this from Agri-Supply. It was worked/held up great. Durable finish. The bucket has held up to mulch, gravel, road millings, and dirt, and the scoop looks next to new, even being stored outside. Others are right- the fine tunuing mechanisms could use some refinement, but nothing that can't be fabricated at home. Best $300 I have spent on garden equipment!
